Nothing to do with Uncle Bubbles - My first time bubbling on a cool, humid day (using basic guar mix with 50% more Baking Powder)

Today, I received my order of Uncle Bubbles Concentrate (3 bottles). I am not sure how I want to use all of them yet,  but I am pretty sure at least one bottle will be used strictly for fun (maybe even some bubble sculpture). I am debating if I should use the other two bottles as a "benchmark solution" in the event I get more serious about mix designs. I do use a good quality 1/10 gram scale (need to get a 1/100 gram scale someday) to measure ingredient, but I am not so good at monitoring water temperatures or mixing times.

For clarification, I will offer the following explination of "benchmark solution" as I use it in this context. Becuase there are so many uncontrolable variable when bubbling outside (temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, flying insects, pollution levels, etc) I am looking for a way to create at least one constant when experimenting with different recipes. By carefully preparing a sample of the Uncle Bubbles Concentrate juice, and using it with a bubble-producing apparatus identical in size and design to the one used to test a recipe, I can then compare how the benchmark recipe performed during that session to previous sessions. For example, if on the fifth test the benchmark solution and the new recipe both make bubbles that last 30 seconds longer than those produced in any other test session, it would be reasonable to suspect the uncontrolable variables were favorable to bubbling during that test. If, on the other hand, the benchmark recipe bubbles had a duration similar to all previous session, and the test recipe bubbles lasted much longer than other recipe bubble, there would be reason to suspect the test recipe may have superior quailities for the conditions present during the test.

If I can find the time, I hope to try some new recipes. I also ordered some HEC, which should arrive in the next 4-5 days, and I still have not had an oportunity to mix up any J-lube based juice.

I should also add I believe a benchmark solution would be useful in evaluating various wick materials.

Does anyone use a benchmark solution?

If so, which one?

How many dips per test session do you feel do you feel are required to establish a baseline?

I appreciate any other thoughts, observations, or experiences.
