The conditions looked good on paper. Temperature in the mid-60s. Humidity around 50% or 55% and fairly mild breeze. Bubbles were popping like crazy though. Seems like there must have been some dry particles in the air. I did manage to get a little video footage which I may post. Foam built up over the short session more than it does with other materials and clung to the wand. I think the dipping of the wand with all those fibers sticking out has a tendency to froth more than smoother materials. It is probably important to periodically wipe down the loop to remove the froth as well as staying vigilant about the foam buildup in the bucket.

I also used a single strand butcher twine loop of the same size (both are 100-inch topstring loops) and it clearly has less capacity than the jute and while more responsize (because it gets less heavy with juice) it didn't seem to be any more friendly in terms of closing. I was using a solution that used J-Lube as the polymer and no secondary polymer.

Here are some pictures from the session.
