Today, I used a 3-strand cord made from Classic Elite Bam Boo Print 100% bamboo yarn. The top string is about 33 inches. The conditions were not optimal: 63 degrees F, windy, humidity 40% or so. My first impression is that this is a very friendly loop that closes off bubbles easily. It weighs only 6.7 grams. It does not create bubbles quite as large as my triple-strand butcher twine loop but it is close. It can create many medium-sized bubbles from a single dip and even with the brisk wind, I was able to create some 30 foot bubbles. The cord was made using the technique decribed in the article: Rope and Cord Making.

Here it is in action. The solution was homemade Jumbo Juice. Apologies the video is running at half speed. I tried to edit it so that you can see how many bubbles are being created from a single dip.
