This page just documents various viscosity tests that I have performed -- mostly crude. This entry is mostly for my own edification but may be of interest to others.

I will try to fill in the details of how the tests are performed (at a later date).
When performing the 20 ml syringe test, the plunger of the syringe is removed and the tip is plugged with a small stopper. Fluid is added to the 20 ml line. The video recording is started. The recording is stopped when the syringe is empty.
The video is reviewed. The following frame numbers are recorded: start of fluid flow from tip, when the level reaches 15 ml, 10 ml, and 0 ml. The corresponding times are found by subtracting start time from all frame numbers then dividing by the frame rate.
